and understanding of pancreatic cancer. Our ultimate goal
is to make a difference in the lives of those who are diagnosed
with pancreatic cancer, and their families.
Pancreatic cancer
is one of the most difficult tumors to detect and diagnose early.
In most cases, symptoms develop after the cancer has already
spread. As a result, diagnosis is frequently made when the
cancer is in advanced stages.
Pancreatic cancer
is the fourth leading cancer death among men and
women in the U.S. However, pancreatic cancer research is under-represented
and under-funded. Our campaign is to increase support and
funding for pancreatic cancer research.
